Groupon to expand holiday business with VP travel appointment
Groupon has confirmed the appointment of Andy Washington as vice president of travel, EMEA.
Washington previously held senior roles at Culture Trip, Lastminute.com, dnata and Expedia.
He has joined to lead Groupon’s ‘next phase of growth in the travel sector’, the company said.
Groupon international president Anita Samojednik described Washington as ‘one of the most influential dotcom directors in the UK’.
Washington said: "I have joined at an exciting time in the journey of Groupon, with a huge amount of opportunity ahead of us.
"I am looking forward to taking Groupon’s international travel business to the next level of success."
