GTI Tourism to promote Lord Howe
GTI Tourism has been appointed as the new representative for the Lord Howe Island Tourism Association and Wild Bush Luxury following the resignation of Kerry Lorimer, director of Splash Communications.
Lorimer will be winding down Splash Communications’ PR business to embark on a round-the-world sailing adventure, which will allow her to focus on writing, photography and environmental projects.
Lord Howe Island Tourism Association (LHITA) chair, Judith Riddle, said Lorimer’s resignation comes after seven years in the role of marketing executive.
"Kerry has helped significantly raise the profile of the island – both domestically and internationally – and she has been instrumental in securing funding support for the development and promotion of tourism on Lord Howe."
