GTMC organises second technology showcase

Thursday, 31 Jul, 2006 0

A second technology showcase is to be run for members of the Guild of Travel Management Companies.

Galileo, Sabre, Worldspan and Amadeus have all confirmed their attendance in addition to a range of back office systems providers, network providers and ancillary technology companies.

The event takes place on September 21 at the Cumberland Hotel in London.

Last year’s first showcase attracted 25 technology companies to meet with guild members.

GMTC chief executive Philip Carlisle said: “Response to the second showcase has been very encouraging with many players booking straight after last year’s event.

“We are now opening the doors to other technology suppliers – particularly any who did not attend last year.

“We will be urging members to send their key technology staff along and, with a members session running alongside the showcase, we know that key decision makers will be in attendance.”
