GTMC welcomes new member
The Guild of Travel Management Companies has welcomed Altour International as its latest member.
Established in the US in 1991, Altour came to the UK in 1999 and is based in London’s Queen Victoria Street near Blackfriars.
It employs around 40 people in the UK, some of them employees and others independent contractors running their own businesses within the Altour organisation.
The UK operation is headed up by general manager Nigel Parkinson, who previously worked for Carlson Wagonlit and Hogg Robinson.
Altour specialises in travel management in the entertainment sector, music tours, film shoots, general media, concierge, medical repatriation as well as corporate finance clients.
