Guild to stage technology showcase
The Guild of Travel Management Companies is to hold its first technology showcase next month.
Amadeus, Sabre, Worldspan and Galileo have all agreed to attend the event along with a range of back office system and network providers and ancillary technology companies.
GTMC chief executive Philip Carlisle said: “We have already exceeded the number of technology suppliers we thought we would attract. This is an opportunity for technology companies to showcase their products and services in front of 33 GTMC member companies that between them account for nearly 80% of all business travel arrangements in the UK.”
He urged business agents to send their key technology staff to the showcase.
The event takes place at the Cumberland Hotel in central London on September 27.
