BERLIN – Haiti will be exhibiting at ITB Berlin next month.

With the support of the Caribbean Tourism Organisation, ITB Berlin and Rhino Design, Haiti – represented by the Haitian Embassy in Berlin – will be at this year’s event..

In addition there will be a workshop in the middle of hall 4.1 on Thursday March 11 from 12:15- 1.00 focussing on “Development perspectives through sustainable tourism for Haiti” with the contribution of H.E. Jean-Robert Saget, Ambassador of Haiti to Germany and the GTZ (German Technical Cooperation).

This year’s ITB charity campaign will support the victims of the recent devastating earthquake and reconstruction of Haiti instead of collecting money for an aid project supported by ITB Berlin 2010 partner country, Turkey.

Turkey has waived its privilege in favour of Haiti.
