Hanoi’s Train Street cafes going off the rails
Hanoi’s iconic Train Street cafes and shops are being forced to close.
One of Hanoi’s most popular tourist haunts, the government has cancelled permits for businesses which are just inches from the track.
The scene a asocial media staple but the government and the Vietnam Railway Corporation have decided to finally crack down.
There have been numerous safety issues not paying heed to warnings.
Train Street businesses were given until last Saturday to vacate, although authorities haven’t started enforcing it yet.
