Haven adds Yorkshire holiday park
Haven has added a new holiday park in Yorkshire to its 2016 brochure.
The Thornwick Bay, on part of Flamborough Cliff’s nature reserve, was purchased by Haven’s parent Bourne Leisure in April.
The company will invest in an indoor swimming pool with fun features and slides, an adventure trail and play areas, bar, and a restaurant with a terrace.
"Haven is also planning exciting, new outdoor activities and entertainment that will be a little different than the activities and entertainment on offer at other parks," said a spokeswoman.
Elsewhere, Haven is investing in improving its pools, including the outdoor pools at Burnham-On-Sea, The Orchards and Riviere Sands and the indoor pools at Hopton, Haggerston Castle, and Primrose Valley.
New look and feel bars and restaurants are being launched at Kiln Park, Reighton Sands, Blue Dolphin and Thorpe Park.
For children, there will be new tours with CBeebies favourite Tree Fu Tom and a Shaun the Sheep Puppet show.
In 2016, Haven is also introducing new grades of accommodation across its portfolio, so guests can now choose from four main grades; Standard, Deluxe, Prestige and Platinum.
Haven’s 2016 brochure is out this week and agents can win a free Haven break by completing a new Haven online training course.
The parks operator is also giving away £50 Love2Shop vouchers for the best Haven window display.
Both competitions close at midnight on December 17 2015.
