Hawaiian Airlines expand codeshare with Virgin Australia
Hawaiian Airlines has strengthened its codeshare agreement with Virgin Australia, offering customers access to more Australasian destinations.
Customers get one-stop check-in and baggage transfers originating from more than a dozen cities including Melbourne, Cairns, Townsville and Mackay, as well as Christchurch, Wellington, Dunedin and Queenstown in New Zealand to Brisbane and Sydney on Virgin-operated codeshare flights beginning April 3.
Starting April 10, Virgin Australia customers can book codeshare flights operated by Hawaiian Airlines from Brisbane to Honolulu.
"Hawaii is a hugely popular destination with Australians and New Zealanders and we are excited to extend our reach," said Andrew Stanbury, Hawaiian Airlines’ Australia and New Zealand regional director.
Additionally, both airlines will offer members reciprocal benefits to earn and redeem mileage points on each other’s codeshare flights.
