Hawaiian Airlines launching Maui flights from Las Vegas
Hawaiian Airlines will launch new flights linking Maui’s Kahului Airport with Las Vegas later this year.
The four-times-weekly service is set to take off on December 15, 2019 using new narrow-body Airbus A321neo aircraft.
Hawaiian previously operated the route until 2012.
"Hawaiian has been carrying local residents to and from Las Vegas, and welcoming our Nevada visitors to Hawaii for over 30 years. We’re thrilled to once again offer the convenience of nonstop flights between the Valley Isle and the ninth island," said Peter Ingram, Hawaiian Airlines president and CEO.
To kick off sales for the route, the airline is offering special $199 one-way fares through August 14 and a further 10% for new and existing HawaiianMiles members.
It also opened sales for two other new A321neo routes connecting Maui and Los Angeles and a second Honolulu-Seattle flight.
The A321neo features 16 reclining seats in First Class, 44 in Premium Economy, and 129 Economy seats.
