Hawaiian Airlines ramps up Sapporo winter schedule
Hawaiian Airlines will boost frequencies to Sapporo, Japan next winter with seasonal demand on the rise in the Japanese market.
The non-stop service between Honolulu and Sapporo’s New Chitose Airport will be increased to up to five weekly flights from Feb. 1 – 16, 2019.
Flights will depart Sapporo in the evening Wednesday through Sunday.
Hawaiian says there has been a spike in demand from Hokkaido travelers seeking a winter sunshine vacation to Hawaii.
Hawaiian began flying the route three times a week in 2012 and is still the only carrier to offer non-stop service between Honolulu and Sapporo.
The route is flown by three-class Airbus A330 aircraft with a Premium Cabin with full-flat seating, Extra Comfort premium economy, and a main economy cabin.
Reservations for Hawaiian’s increased Sapporo schedule are now live.
