Heathrow parent to sell three of four remaining UK airports
Heathrow Airport Holdings is looking to sell three of its four remaining UK airports by the end of the year, leaving it with just London’s premier hub.
It is believed to be looking to offload Glasgow, Aberdeen and Southampton in order to raise funds to invest in Heathrow.
HAH issued a statement which said that the Group was ‘formally entering a sale process’.
It added: "Whilst there is currently no certainty that a sale will be concluded, the group intends to work towards completing a transaction by the end of the year."
