Helloword sells Asian specialist wholesale business
Travel group Helloworld has offloaded its Asia specialist wholesale business Insider Journeys.
Previously branded as Travel Indochina, Insider Journeys offers small group tours and tailormade holidays across Asia as well as specialty river cruises in India and Indochina.
It was founded by Paul Hole and Mark Bowyer rebranded to Insider Journeys in 2015.
Helloworld CEO and managing director Andrew Burnes said Insider Journeys was not a core component of its future strategy, but has secured a preferred supplier agreement with new owner, DMC group Eight At Work Holding Pty.
The sale comes on the heels of Helloworld acquiring New Zealand based sports travel specialist Williment Travel Group.
