Hen party passengers ‘too drunk’ to fly
Six passengers in a hen party were removed from an easyJet flight at Gatwick after the pilot said they were ‘too drunk’ to fly.
The women, who were due to fly out to Barcelona, had shouted, ‘Stay away from row 24, we’re going to be sick everywhere,’ reports the Daily Mail.
They were led off the plane by police causing the flight to be delayed two and a half hours.
A spokesperson for Sussex Police told MailOnline: "The report was made by the captain of the easyJet plane who refused to fly with the women on board. They were removed. No arrests were made."
A spokesperson for easyJet said: "easyJet can confirm that flight EZY8579 from London Gatwick to Barcelona on September 17 returned to stand due to two passengers behaving disruptively."
