Heritage Resorts and Veranda Resorts mark Mauritius’ reopening with marketing campaign
As Mauritius unlocks its borders once again to welcome international travellers, VLH, Mauritius hotel operator of five Veranda Resorts hotels and three Heritage Resorts properties, has launched a major international marketing campaign to woo back guests.
The hotel group continues to work with UK tour operators and agents with most bookings expected from 1 October, when vaccinated travellers can enter Mauritius without restrictions.
In addition, they must present a negative PCR test, taken within 72 hours before departure.
Axelle Mazery, Chief Communications Officer at VLH said: "We look forward to welcoming back our guests and have used this time as an opportunity to reinvent our guest experiences and refocus on meaningful experiences."
The Veranda Resorts campaign, with the tag line ‘Unforgettable memories are made barefoot’, will focus on simplicity and a commitment to eco-responsible sustainable tourism.
It will bring Mauritius culture to its guests with its ‘Deep into Mauritius’ experiences that showcase Mauritius traditions and cultures.
The Heritage Resorts campaign focusing on the five-star luxury market, invites guests to enjoy ‘New Beginnings’ at its properties – Heritage Le Telfair, Heritage Awali and Heritage The Villas, which are all located on the Bel Ombre territory.
The 2,500 hectare estate comprising a nature reserve, a lagoon and award-winning golf course.
The marketing campaign will target couples, friends, families, golfers, honeymooners and travellers within Europe and the Middle East.
For vaccinated guests arriving before 1 October, Veranda Pointe Aux Biches is now open as one of the island’s officially appointed ‘resort bubbles’.
Air Mauritius and other global airlines are adding additional flight capacity from now, which will increase in the lead up to the full reopening of 1 October 2021.
