Hertz renews global partnership with Lufthansa
Car rental giant Hertz has renewed its global partnership with German flag carrier Lufthansa.
The two companies first forged a partnership in 2013.
The updated global partnership allows customers booking flights on Lufthansa.com to rent a Hertz vehicle at all global locations benefitting from special discounts and new exclusive benefits.
Lufthansa’s Miles & More members can earn a minimum of 500 miles on their Hertz rentals.
When enrolling in Hertz’s loyalty program Gold Plus Rewards they have their status matched with Gold Plus Rewards’ equivalent tiers, plus get a range of extra perks.
"We are confident that the renewal of our alliance with Lufthansa will be very welcomed by travelers. Lufthansa’s extensive route network across 83 countries, together with our truly global footprint and leading presence in the US, are certainly a perfect match for both leisure and business travellers," said Michel Taride, group president, Hertz International.
Hertz is also Lufthansa’s exclusive partner for corporate car rentals for the airline’s employees provides car rental on demand services for customers and crew during flight disruptions.
