Hicks leaves Wendy Wu
Wendy Wu Tours managing director Laurence Hicks has left the company after failing to “agree terms for the continuance of a relationshipâ€.
The operator said Hicks, who joined the company on May 1 2008 initially on an interim one-year contract, was leaving on “amicable termsâ€.
Wendy Wu said: “We are deeply saddened by the departure of Laurence who has dramatically and so publicly transformed this business over the last 14 months and you can be sure that his skills, knowledge, energy and larger than life personality will be missed by everyone here.”
“I am naturally disappointed to be leaving Wendy Wu Tours, †said Hicks. “However, I feel that I have moved the company to a higher platform and am now ready for whatever new challenge lays before me.”
Hicks is understood to be considering a number of options at present.
