Hilton appoints head of global marketing for luxury portfolio
Hilton has named Sumindi Peiris as global marketing head for its portfolio of luxury brands.
As vice president of global marketing, luxury and lifestyle brands, Peiris will lead marketing, digital and public relations functions, as well as global positioning for Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts, Conrad Hotels & Resorts and Canopy by Hilton.
Hilton global head of luxury and lifestyle brands John Vanderslice said: "We are thrilled that Sumindi has joined our brands, supporting our journey of becoming the fastest growing, most innovative luxury hotel brands in the world."
Peiris most recently worked at Johnnie Walker Reserve in Singapore as vice president and global director.
Prior to that she gained brand management experience at major consumer brands including Unilever and LVMH (Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton).
