Hilton revamps loyalty program benefits
Hilton has unveiled upcoming updates to its loyalty rewards program.
Starting in April Hilton Honors will offer more opportunities to earn elite points quicker, the chance to gift status and rollover free nights.
The company announced elite-tier bonus rates for Silver at 20% Gold (80%) and Diamond at(100% for members.
In addition there will be unlimited milestone bonuses of 10,000 bonus points for every 10th night, when members have reached a minimum threshold of 40 nights in a calendar year.
"We are announcing the latest updates to Hilton Honors, designed to deliver more of what matters most to our members. We have heard our Hilton Honors members loud and clear—they are looking for simple, straightforward ways to earn more points and rewards the more they stay with Hilton," said Mark Weinstein, Hilton’s SVP and global head of customer engagement, loyalty and partnerships.
Also, Silver, Gold and Diamond members may roll over their qualifying nights earned to count toward elite-tier status for the following year.
Now members may gift Gold or Diamond status to a travel partner when they reach stays of 60 nights or 100 nights respectively.
"Now more than ever, every stay counts – there’s always another milestone to reach, benefit to unlock, reward to earn," Weinstein added.
