Hilton to debut Conrad brand in Malaysia
Global hospitality giant Hilton will introduce the luxury Conrad brand to Malaysia after inking an agreement with developer Permodalan Nasional Berhad.
The 544-room new-build Conrad Kuala Lumpur is slated to open in 2021 in the capital’s Golden Triangle district.
The hotel will feature an all-day dining restaurant, plus two specialty dining venues and a bar.
It will also house a business centre, meeting space, a spa and fitness centre, and pool.
"We are excited to continue expanding our footprint and portfolio of brands across the country by working with the right partners on the right opportunities," said Guy Phillips, Hilton SVP of development, Asia & Australasia.
Hilton’s Malaysia portfolio currently comprises 11 hotels under the Hilton, DoubleTree by Hilton and Hilton Garden Inn brands.
It expects to open another nine over the next three to five years which includes a Malaysian debut for the Canopy by Hilton brand.
