Hilton’s Curio Collection signs first DC hotel

Hilton Worldwide’s Curio Collection has signed its first hotel in the nation’s capital.
 
The Darcy, Curio Collection by Hilton, is expected to open in Washington DC by the middle of next year.
 
Featuring 225 rooms, The Darcy is six blocks from the White House and provides a fitness center, restaurant, and 5,500 square feet of meeting space.
 
"Washington, DC is a natural choice for expansion of the Curio Collection. The Darcy will provide a stylish alternative to the local area in addition to providing guests with a memorable hotel experience all with the reassurance of the Hilton name," said Mark Nogal, global head of Curio.
 
Curio is a hand-picked collection of unique upscale and luxury hotels targeted at  equally independent-minded travelers.
 
"The Darcy will offer unparalleled, personalized service in the most convenient of locations in Washington, DC," said Tobias Arff, general manager of The Darcy.
