If you thought travelling by coach was the only way for your clients to see Europe with Trafalgar, think again. Trafalgar has introduced a series of Train Tours for 2008 that enable clients to travel in style, security and make the most of their time in Europe.

These four new fully escorted Train Tours utilise Europe’s modern rail system, enabling clients to enjoy the time-saving benefits of high speed train travel, along with the advantages and security provided by Trafalgar’s experienced tour directors, whose expert knowledge and local know-how enhance their experience of each fascinating destination.

They include the eight-day Contrasts of Switzerland, the nine-day Contrasts of France, the 10-day Contrasts of Italy and the 15-day Contrasts of Europe.

The Contrasts of Switzerland offers clients the most impressive way to see the scenic wonderland of Switzerland. This holiday includes one of the world’s most spectacular rail journeys, the luxurious Glacier Express, an eight hour railway journey across 291 bridges, through 91 tunnels, and across the Oberalp Pass at an altitude of 2033 metres.

Highlights of the tour include:

** Orientation tours of Zurich, St Moritz and Zermatt

** See the United Nations building, the Reformation Monument, the Flower Clock and the Jet D’Eau in Geneva

** Stop at the beautiful resort of Interlaken

** Enjoy an orientation of Lucerne including the Lion Monument and Chapel Bridge

** Scenic journeys from Zurich via Chur to St Moritz, St Moritz to Zermatt on the Glacier Express, Zermatt to Geneva on the upper Rhone valley, Geneva to Lucerne on the Golden Pass route with a stop at Interlaken.

Priced from $2275 per person, twin share (land only), this tour includes train travel, as per itinerary, first-class hotel accommodation, orientation tours and transfers on Trafalgar’s luxury air conditioned coach, sightseeing, professional multi-lingual tour director, hot buffet breakfast daily, some dinners including farewell dinner with wine in Lucerne and airport transfers. Departures are available from 27 April to 5 October, 2008.

As the European expert, Trafalgar is committed to offering your clients the most extensive range of holiday choices across all of Europe and the UK. With fully escorted train holidays, river cruises, Mediterranean cruising, as well as coach touring, the breadth of Trafalgar’s transportation options is unparalleled, ensuring that your client’s journey is just as exciting as each fascinating destination.

Clients can also save up to 10 per cent by booking and paying for their tour 12 months in advance of travel (discounts are also available for bookings as little as four months in advance), making Trafalgar’s European holidays even better value for money.
