HK Express names new CEO
Budget carrier HK Express has appointed Luo Cheng as new permanent CEO.
Luo has two decades’ experience in commercial aviation and joins from Africa World Airlines where he was CEO and co-chairman.
Africa World Airlines was founded in 2010 and backed by Hainan Airlines.
He was also a former chairman of Suparna Airlines and earlier in his career held key roles in sales and marketing, responsible for North America, Africa and Asia markets.
He will oversee the airline’s overall strategy, and drive its investment and operational performance.
HK Express said Luo’s appointment will ‘enhance the quality of customer service and improve management efficiency.’
Luo will also play a key role in day-to-day business operations alongside company president Li Dianchun.
Luo will also work closely with executive chairman Zhong Guosong.
