Holiday Direct Travel Group Broaden their Horizons
Holiday Direct Travel Group, founded in 1998, have a long and successful history working with small and less experienced travel agents. Over the years the group has trained and supported a huge range of travel business; from school and military specialists, to small high street agents and home-workers.
From simple beginnings, the travel group now operates one of the most advanced back office systems in the industry ‘Dolphin Travel Manager’, as well as facilitating the latest dynamic packaging front end tools to its agents.
Now it has itself grown, Holiday Direct Travel Group is actively looking to recruit larger and more experienced agents who are looking for better support, or need a more flexible approach.
Unlike many other groups, Holiday Direct don’t just provide bonding; they undertake administration from supplier payments to refunds, payment collection and ticketing. For all their support, the group is presenting a limited offer to established agents of commission at 85% and no joining fee.
Managing Director Cary Lam commented “we are looking to the future now which involves sitting down with some of the more established agents in the industry who are not currently satisfied with their existing package and seeing how we can work with them. We have recently moved to new offices in Southampton to deal with the increase in turnover we have experienced, and think a realistic aim is to at least double turnover in 2009.â€
