Holiday park operator acquires Scottish park
Lancashire based Harrison Holidays is expanding its portfolio with the acquisition of a holiday park at Loch Lomond.
It is buying the Ardlui Hotel, Marina and Holiday Park and plans to expand services.
Harrison Holidays said it has secured £7 million of funding from HSBC for the business that includes a small hotel, a marina, and a caravan park licensed for nearly 100 units
Harrison will refurbish the 11-acre site and plans to add accommodation options and update F&B venues.
William Harrison, Director at Harrison Holidays, said it will create at least 10 new jobs and increase the company’s turnover by about 8%
“Ardlui Hotel, Marina and Holiday Park already has a well-established reputation, with high quality hospitality. As a family-run business, we are always strategic with growth and expansion plans. This investment into such a unique holiday park marks an exciting step forward.”
Harrison Holidays was established more than 40 years ago.
It owns and operates holiday parks across the country from Cumbria to Suffolk.
