Holiday review website in revamp

Friday, 07 Nov, 2007 0

Holiday review website TripReport (www.tripreport.com) has been re-launched after a major redesign and re-branding.

Previously known as myholidyreport.com, the site includes reviews by holidaymakers and business travellers.

It aims to expand the content to more off the beaten track destinations – not just package holiday resorts already well covered by the site.

Unlike other review sites, TripReport offers thousands of reviews on destinations as well as hotels, according to the company.

Users can add reports and photos on their destination and add tips on when do go, where to eat and what to do.

Founder Tom Pitman said: “Savvy travellers read opinions of other holidaymakers before deciding on their destination and we want to make this job much easier.

“Brochure content is not viewed as impartial and the hotel content is often out of date.

“Likewise guidebooks get out-of-date quickly, particularly the sections on bars and restaurants etc. TripReport is updated 24/7 by our readers.”
