Holidaymakers warned of hazardous conditions across Thailand
Holidaymakers to Thailand are being warned of further heavy rain across the country, especially in the north, northeast and south.
The Foreign Office said the Thai Meteorological Department was also warning of high seas in the Upper Gulf of Thailand, including Hua Hin and Koh Chang, and the Andaman Sea.
There are also flood warnings in place until August 24 for the border crossing to Vientiane in Laos at Nongkhai and at Nakhon Phanom, and the Mekong River Commissoin is warning of high waters along the Mekong.
"You should follow the advice of local authorities and monitor weather forecasts," said the Foreign Office in an update to its travel advice for Thailand.
