Holidays leave Britons unsettled
Almost half of Britons consider resigning and looking for a new job immediately after their summer holiday, according to a new poll.
Research from DirectHolidayBookings reveals that up to 46 per cent of people returning to work get such a bad case of post-holiday blues that they consider handing in their notice and heading off for pastures new.
Meanwhile, more than half, 56 per cent, admitted to feeling unsettled in their jobs immediately after their holidays, having had time to reflect on their careers and recharge their batteries ready for a new challenge.
The research was backed by recruitment specialists Permanent Futures, which said September was its busiest month of the year.
