International Travel Expo ITE in Hong Kong – trade days are June 12-13 with consumers to follow on June 15-16 – is putting the focus on sports tourism.
The event at the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre will also highlight travel photography, overseas wedding and honeymoon, wellness, in-depth travel and cruises.
Organisers say sports tourism has top billing at the show.
Exhibitors include Taiwan (cycling), Switzerland and Nepal (hiking) Kazakhstan (horse riding), Sabah (diving), South Africa (adventure), and Japan (ski).
In addition, an information stand on sports tourism will have representatives from related associations and organisations to share tips and travel ideas for diving, hiking and biking.
