Hong Kong Tourism appoints new UK trade marketing manager
The Hong Kong Tourism Board has hired a new Senior Manager, Trade Marketing for the UK and Northern Europe.
Joelle Watkins stepped into the role last week and will oversee all trade marketing strategy and partnerships across Northern Europe and the UK.
This means working closely with travel agents, tour operators, airlines and other industry partners
She brings experience working in similar trade and marketing roles with Emirates, Flight Centre and Travelport.
She will be based in HKTB’s London office.
“I’m delighted to be joining the HKTB at such an exciting time. I’m looking forward to working with our trade partners across the UK to support their businesses and showcase everything the region has to offer,” Watkins said.
Last year, visitation to Hong Kong from the UK increased by more than 15%.
