Hosted buyers sought for ITE HCMC
SINGAPORE – The 5th International Travel Expo at Ho Chi Minh City (ITE HCMC), to be held from October 1-3, 2009 at Phu Tho Exhibition Centre, will focus on the Mekong trio of Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos
With four successful shows since 2005, ITE HCMC has become a platform for both international and local participants to showcase a diverse range of tourism products and services from all three countries.
ITE HCMC is regarded as Vietnam’s foremost tourism trade event and a vital event on travel trade calendars.
A notable feature at ITE HCMC is the Hosted Buyer Programme.
ITE HCMC 2009 will host international buyers from September 30 to October 2 as part of the official programme.
The buyers programme is designed to allow international buyers an opportunity to familiarise themselves with Vietnam’s tourist destinations and attractions, meet local travel agencies and also exchange ideas with the authorities.
Fully hosted buyers will enjoy three nights complimentary hotel accommodation, admission badge, free entry to the conference programme, access to networking functions, and participation in buyer/seller meetings.
Discounted airfare will be accorded to fully hosted buyers only.
All successful hosted buyers shall commit to attend 24 appointments over the duration of the event with exhibitors of their choice.
