Hotel discounts up to 99%
This year’s extra day in February is tomorrow. So not only are there special offers for just that day but some hotels are offering discounts of up to 99%, with some offers good for travel the rest of the year. Briefly:
The Kimpton Hotel chain discounted stays at their three Alexandria, Va., properties of 29% with nightly rates starting at $113…Another three Kimpton properties in Florida, in Miami and Vero Beach, also have upgraded rooms for $29…The oceanfront Sanderling resort, an upscale property in North Carolina’s Outer Banks, is encouraging visitors to "leap to the beach" with a promotion that brings room rates to $250 for the first evening and $29 for the second on weekday stays in March… One of the latest additions to the Windy City’s skyline is the Trump Chicago, where bookers can take 29% off suites for travel April 1-June 30. The discount is also valid at the Trump properties in New York, Las Vegas, Waikiki, Panama and Toronto…The Opus Hotel in Vancouver is offering a room rate of 29 cents with stays of three nights or longer…In a one-day sale tomorrow, rates at six Marriott’s in the Caribbean are as much as half off. Participating properties are the Costa Rica Marriott San Jose, San Juan Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino, Frenchman’s Reef & Morning Star Beach Resort, Los Suenos Ocean & Golf Resort, St. Kitts Marriott Resort & Royal Beach Casino, and Aruba Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino…The Charles Hotel in Cambridge, Mass., says bookers online between 2:29 and 3:29 tomorrow save 29% on all reservations. Rates start at $359 and there are some blackout dates… On Leap Year day only, visitors can save at Barbados at over 25 participating hotels and attractions. The one-time, one-day "Leap to Barbados" offer is for anyone booking a minimum five-night stay pay $29 for the first night. Additionally, travelers have the chance to complement their hotel stay in Barbados with an underwater experience at Atlantis Submarines, offering $29 off the full price for the first person in each party.
