How long have you spent on Facebook in the last decade?
Social media is now one of the most popular forms of customer service, so it’s no surprise that we hear more stories of complaints ‘going viral’ these days. This week, Paul Cookson wrote a Facebook post about the increase in school holiday prices. With 250 friends, he did not expect his story to travel too far. However, a few friends seemed to understand Paul’s qualms and followed his request to share if they agreed. Soon, the post had been shared by over 143,000. Supporters of the post also began signing a petition calling for the government to take action. It’s another great example of how social media brings a community together – even if it is just to have a good rant!

London falls flat, apparently, in terms of number of posts, tweets or pictures shared; and has too few followers and likes to even feature on the list of most popular cities.

This new tool with its share button is surely going to name and shame a few too many of us…
