“We are very excited about Daintree Eco Lodge & Spa as it represents the very finest in Spa’s” says HRA Chief Craig Davies “ the amazing thing also is that all the awards and nominations have come from the guest, what better form of acknowledgement can you get than that.”

From the moment you arrive in the Wet Tropics World Heritage area, there is little doubt you are in for a special Far North Queensland experience. A true chance to escape the stress of everyday life and give into the lure of a lush tropical rainforest, the lodge offers an experience of pure indulgence that’s hard to match. Set on the southern banks of the Daintree River, Daintree Eco Lodge & Spa is a 4.5 star 15-villa retreat and has been voted in the top 10 spa retreats in the world.

A mere 90 minute drive from Cairns International & Domestic airports, Daintree Eco Lodge & Spa offer its guests tree house-style accommodation that sets it apart and makes you feel like you are part of the tropical rainforest. The villas have everything you would expect, an en-suite bathroom, air conditioning, satellite TV, in-house movies, CD player, mini bar and essential for the rainforest a micro insect screened balcony.

The family-owned retreat does not back away from the accolades that include Tatler magazine declaring it the ‘‘best nature spa retreat in the world’’, Conde Nast ranking it the best spa in Australia and the South Pacific (and among the Top 10 in the world) and Harpers and Queen naming it the ‘‘most pampering eco-lodge in the world’’. Numerous awards, including2002-03 Australian Tourism Awards for both Deluxe Accommodation and the Eco-tourism Award, only add to the expectation when embarking on a luxurious escape at the highest-rated rainforest spa resort in the country.

Hotel Representation Australia, based in Sydney, claims to provide strategically based sales representation and publicity for hotels seeking to expand their share of the Australian market.
