HRG enhances self-booking
Hogg Robinson Group’s self-service booking tool HRG Online has been upgraded.
New features and benefits to enhance the booking process have been added.
The new features include an option to view and book all flights departing same day; to request to join the waitlist for full flights; automated rail booking and instant ticketing, including payment by invoice, credit card or lodge card.
It also offers the ability to identify environmentally friendly hotels; city ‘caps’ displayed to highlight the recommended ceiling price for an average room rate in each location, with rates displayed in both destination and home currency; an option to request multi-sector trips with in-branch fulfilment and the ability to add an itinerary directly to a traveller’s Microsoft Outlook calendar.
HRG business technology and distribution director Bill Brindle said: “A significant proportion of all HRG’s managed clients now have online booking capabilities or are evaluating the relevance of an SSR (self-service reservations) tool for their organisation. This demonstrates the importance of continuous improvement and the need to ensure that HRG’s own solutions not only meet but also exceed technology and industry standards.”
HRG has developed a six-stage online booking ‘roadmap’ to guide clients through the process of introducing online booking into their organisation, from conception through to implementation and measurement.
