HRS sales boss to join luxury hotel group
Rocco Forte Hotels has appointed Christian Renz in the newly-created role of global sales director.
Renz is currently executive director of hotels sales at Hotel Reservation Service (HRS) and was previously VP sales for Kempinski Hotels.
In his new role, he will direct the team of 24 regional sales directors and managers in 12 countries in Europe, Middle East and the Americas.
He will also be in charge of sales and marketing specialists in the company’s 13 luxury hotels and assist with new openings.
He will report to MD Karim Naffah and will join the Executive Committee of the Board.
Taking up his post on January 2, Renz will be based in the company’s London office.
Richard Power, brand managing director, will hand over his sales responsibilities to focus on central marketing function, e-commerce, communications and other responsibilities.
