Hurricane Manuel still wreaking havoc on Mexican coast
The evacuation of thousands of tourists continues in Mexico as the country prepares for more destruction.
Tropical Storm Manuel has been upgraded into a category one hurricane and is threatening further damage as it barrels north along Mexico’s western coast.
Eighty people have already been killed in Tropical storms Ingrid and Manuel and nearly 60 are reported missing after a landslide buried a village in the southwest.
Looting has broken out in Acapulco, where 40,000 tourists have been stranded since the airport closed over the weekend.
Emergency flights are slowly evacuating them, and the army has been called in to help with the operation.
A concert hall is being used as a temporary shelter and operations center for the airport.
