Hurtigruten to sail out of Dover for first time
Hurtigruten is to offer winter sailings from Dover for the 2021-2022 season for the first time.
Fourteen-day cruises from the UK port will operate from October 2021 to March 2022 onboard MS Maud, as part of the company’s Norway Expedition portfolio.
MS Maud is one of three Hurtigruten vessels to be transformed into a premium hybrid powered expedition cruise ship.
Hurtigruten said the voyage will offer more time in familiar and new ports and there will be more expedition team members on board.
Daily excursions are included in the price, with other options available at an additional charge.
Port of Dover chief commercial officer Barbara Buczek said: "We are really excited to be working with Hurtigruten to bring a new winter cruise season to Dover, and to become their first ever UK port of call."
Prices start from £3,299 per person.
