HWT appoints head of sales for the north
Harvey World Travel has appointed George Reynolds head of sales for the north, following its recent acquisitions.
George Reynolds, who has been HWT’s brokerage manager since June 2005, will oversee all branches in the region, assisted by Louise Devall, business development manager.
The appointments come after HWT’s acquisitions of Lets Go Travel and Galaxy Travel.
Following the purchase of Galaxy Travel, its former managing director Geoff Blagg was appointed HWT head of sales for the south.
His team now includes Mandy Shilito, senior business development manager and Andrew Phare, business development manager.
Second business development managers will be recruited for both regions.
HWT managing director John Donnelly Travel said: “With 83 branches plus three call centres, it was vital to have a change over in how the regions are structured in order that all the branches are well looked after.”
