Hyatt joins the ‘lifestyle’ bandwagon

Wednesday, 29 Jan, 2015 0

Global hospitality group Hyatt is introducing a new lifestyle hotel brand in the summer called Centric.

Hyatt Centric will be a full-service brand aimed at the business and leisure market and will be rolled out in major US cities including San Francisco, New York, Chicago, Miami, Washington, DC, Atlanta and Paris.

Guests of Centric will typically be ‘modern explorers looking for a cosmopolitan vibe at the center of the action in the best destinations’, Hyatt said.

Each Hyatt Centric hotel will have a different look, but will share common elements, such as The Corner – a social space where guests can work and browse local books and magazines.

Restaurants and bars will have a casual atmosphere, serving thoughtful, locally inspired food and signature cocktails, Hyatt said.

Pet lovers are also ‘encouraged to bring their four-legged companions’.

Centric is the sixth brand launched by Hyatt since 2006.
