Ibis Budget now landed at Sydney Airport

The most recognised hotel at the entrance to Sydney Domestic Airport has rebranded from Formule 1 to Ibis Budget Sydney Airport.

The move marks the end of Formule 1 hotels in Australia as Accor expands its Ibis Budget brand.

Since the introduction of the Ibis megabrand structure, Ibis Budget has grown to 19 hotels in Australia with former Formule 1 hotels falling under the new banner.

Ibis Budget East Sydney and the 200-room Ibis Budget Sydney Airport were the last remaining Formule 1 hotels to rebadge.

Former Formule 1 hotels are being progressively refurbished.
Ibis Budget Sydney Airport includes fully soundproofed rooms, queen size beds along with bunk beds, work desks and wifi.

A five-minute walk to the Domestic Airport, the hotel offers a shuttle service that takes guests to and from the Domestic and International terminals.

An arrivals and departures monitor is stationed in the hotel lobby.

To mark the hotel’s rebadging, Ibis Budget Sydney Airport is offering guests a special rate from $99 per night from now until January 31, 2014.
