Ibiza goes online as 24-hour clubbing is to be curbed
Ibiza is going online to promote itself as more than a clubbing holiday destination.
A website to assist travellers with advice and information when planning a visit to the island has been developed by the Ibiza government.
It has been created to broaden the appeal of the island as new legislation is taking place designed to curb the 24-hour clubbing scene.
The site at www.ibiza.travel provides details on accommodation, tourist services and cultural and sports events.
Interactive maps give information about historical sites, natural landmarks and beaches.
Users can view information on local towns, the history and cultural heritage of the island and gastronomy offered by Ibiza’s restaurants.
The website is available in English, Spanish, and Catalan, and will be updated on a regular basis.
