Icelandair returning to Orlando
After almost a decade-long hiatus, Icelandair is resuming flights to Orlando International Airport.
The Icelandic national carrier was the first international airline to serve Orlando in 1984 but stopped flights in 2006.
The Orlando service will restart in September 2015.
Non-stop flights on 183-seat Boeing 757-200 aircraft to Iceland will run four days a week, connecting to over 20 destinations in Europe.
Icelandair serves a range of North American destinations year-round including Boston, New York, Washington, Seattle, Denver, Toronto and Edmonton.
Seasonal routes include flights to and from Newark, Minneapolis-St. Paul, Vancouver, Halifax, and Anchorage.
