iCoupon expands in Canada with Air Transat partnership
Digital vouchering provider iCoupon has expanded its North American footprint, announcing a significant new deal with Canadian airline Air Transat.
Air Transat joins iCoupon’s expanding network of Canadian airline partners, further strengthening the company’s presence in the region.
Air Transat will employ iCoupon’s digital meal vouchers during any flight disruption, which enables the swift issue of vouchers at the airport.
Air Transat can now issue a flight delay voucher directly to a passenger’s boarding pass, meaning a hassle-free experience for both the airline and passengers.
iCoupon’s offering is compliant with APPR and significantly improves the customer experience.
The airline will also adopt iCoupon’s Autopay system, which allows all voucher redemption to be rolled into a single monthly bill.
It consolidates all retailer invoices by currency and then creates one monthly bill for the airline.
This automation accelerates the use of iCoupon and also reduces the administrative burden by cutting down the number of invoices airlines need to handle annually.
CEO of iCoupon, Richard Bye said: “We’re really thrilled to see Air Transat join our growing fleet of North American partners and looking forward to supporting them and their passengers.”
iCoupon works with more than 190 airlines, 300 airports and 2,500 retail units.
