If Only pleads for agent patience as it bolsters reservations team

Following a surge in demand in recent weeks for luxury trips, If Only is increasing the number of staff in the luxury specialists reservations team in the Glasgow HQ.

The tour operator asked agents to be patient as it gets to agent calls and enquiries as quickly as possible.

Gordon McCreadie, If Only General Manager said: "I would like to thank our agents for their continued support and ask for the patience. I know call wait times have been longer than normal over the past few weeks."

There is more capacity being released to If Only’s key destinations with Barbados, Mauritius and the Maldives being added everyday by British Airways, Emirates, Etihad and Qatar.

With restrictions being eased to the US, it says further pent-up demand will be realised.

If Only says it is seeing an unsurprising rise in prices due to demand, especially for half term and the over the key festive periods, where availability is also firming up.
