IHG appoints new Americas region COO
InterContinental Hotels Group has appointed Jolyon Bulley to the position of Chief Operating Officer, Americas, based at IHG’s regional headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia.
He will oversee operations for IHG’s portfolio of over 3,600 hotels, and manage franchisee relationships.
Bulley will also serve on the IHG Americas Regional Executive Committee.
A veteran with over 30 years in the hospitality industry, he first began his IHG career in his native Australia in 2001 and latterly served as IHG’s COO for the Greater China region.
Bulley oversaw the development of the HUALUXE Hotels and Resorts brand, the first luxury hotel brand specifically targeted to the Chinese consumer.
He has worked in senior roles for IHG in Asia, Middle East and Africa in operations, brand strategy and multi-brand sales and marketing.
"We are delighted to welcome our colleague Jolyon to the Americas region," said Kirk Kinsell, president, the Americas, IHG.
"Jolyon’s global experience across various disciplines undoubtedly will help us continue to deliver brands that are preferred by our guests and drive results for our owners, while further strengthening our senior leadership team," Kinsell added.
