IHG wins best stand at AIME 2008
IHG New Zealand has won the award for Best Environmental Stand at AIME 2008, in recognition of its completely paperless stand at the annual show.
In addition to having no paper at all at the stand, the team handed back business cards after checking details; provided interactive presentations with direct web links on USB sticks as opposed to brochures; used laminated A3 floor plans which could be illustrated on and wiped clean for new appointments; and used wireless on-line client surveys and quote sheets, allowing for requests to be sent direct to hotels and responded to by COB the same day.
Pictured above at the award-winning stand is IHG’s area director of marketing NZ and South Pacific, Geoff Naumann (second from right) with his team of NZ business development managers (L to R) Scott Alderson, Georgina Torrington and Paula Ritchie.
