Indian Responsible Tourism Entrepreneurs Go Global – Join the Webinar
The Pitch Audience at ITB
Responsible Tourism Goes global with webinar presentations from SATTE, India, Croatia and Austria
Following the successful networking events at the recent ITB and at last year’s WTM, Indian entrepreneurs are taking the initiative to bring Responsible Tourism networking to SATTE, the South Asian Travel show in New Delhi. Many new RT initiatives were launched through informal pitches in European travel trade events giving a powerful platform to entrepreneurs to introduce their products and network with global players.
"After the 2006 National Symposium on Responsible Tourism and 2008 March International Conference on Responsible Tourism in Cochin, Kerala, the momentum for Responsible Tourism is picking up in India. At this juncture we felt the need to bring together those who are into Responsible Tourism to the international network and the RT networking event at SATTE is one such initiatives. It’s heartening to see that we have now an online platform like www.traveltocare.com to promote such stake holders and provide them an opportunity to sell RT products to discerning travellers around the world. " says Gopinath Parayil, Founder of The Blue Yonder and Managing Trustee of ICRT in India.
The RT event at the SATTE is promoted by ITB Berlin and ICRT India in partnership with TraveltoCare.com and The Blue Yonder. VISION on Sustainable Tourism is promoting the event through a webinar that gives access to users from any part of the world to login and listen to the pitches in real time. Your Safe Planet is taking the initiative to co-ordinate the event for local operators in Croatia during the event. The new initiative on Responsible tourism from Austria to connect with developing markets, www.respontour.net will be pitching online from Vienna as well.
Those who are interested in attending the SATTE event should contact [email protected].
An active Facebook group on Responsible Tourism is also available on http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=73518857387
