India’s Vilasa Luxury Travel appoints US rep
India high-end tour specialist Vilasa Luxury Travel is expanding its marketing reach to the US in partnership with New York-based Affluent Hospitality Group.
Adele Black, president of New York-based Affluent Hospitality will represent the brand within the US travel agent community.
Vilasa Luxury Travel’s product range will be promoted at local and regional travel agency association meetings and trade shows, offer product training sessions and build ongoing awareness within the trade.
Vilasa is the luxury brand of Minar Travels, a leading Indian DMC, offering a range of tours and experiences across India, Nepal, Bhutan, Sri Lanka and Maldives.
"We’re very pleased to represent Vilasa Luxury Travel in the U.S., and we look forward to leveraging our relationships with high level agents, host agencies and consortia on behalf of their unique luxury land tours," said Black.
"Our representatives are already reaching out to agents and finalizing participation in numerous key trade events to ensure that the Vilasa brand is recognized as a unique, new option for agents and their high-end clients."
Vilasa is extending its 20% commission rates to US agents on all fixed itineraries through September 30, 2017.
These fixed tours include the 13-night ‘Golf at the Exotic Locations of India,’ and the 8-night ‘Highlands and Backwaters of Kerala.’
