The low cost carrier is asking customers to upload their favourite holiday snaps from over the years for the chance to win a pair of free flights. The campaign hash tag #Timeflies has seen a heap of engagement on Twitter with a number of users uploading holiday images and Tweeting about holiday memories. To get involved, users can go on to a special microsite and upload their images.
The ‘Share a Coke’ campaign became one of the world’s favourite campaigns. The mayor of LA, Eric Garcetti, nicknamed ‘Mayor of Instagram‘ is attempting to bring politics into the 21st century using his social media platforms. Garcetti is exhibiting a collection of 100 of his Instagram photos at a city art gallery including selfies, personal photos, and vistas of Los Angles, as well as the occasional photo of his meals. And finally, following the launch of the iPhone 6S last week, the IOS 9 update became available for iPhone users. The update includes a number of new features that will come in handy for users especially whilst travelling. In the photo section, there is now a folder dedicated to selfies, perfect for viewing a collection of holiday snaps. The new wallet feature allows iPhone users to store useful information such as boarding passes, event/attraction tickets, retail coupons and loyalty cards, that way tourists can carry less on their travels.
